From the German town of Bitburg, this is a premium pilsner and is the No.1 selling draught beer in Germany. The John Hewitt is very proud to be the first bar in Ireland to stock it. 4.8% £3.00

Erdinger Hefe:
Brewed just outside Munich in the town of Erding this wheat beer is one of the great Bavarian beers. Cloudy in appearance, refreshing in taste. 5.3% £3.10

Belfast Ale / Lager:
From the Whitewater Brewery in Co. Down this real ale is made from malt, barley, hops, yeast and water from the Mourne Mountains. There are no artificial colours or preservatives, thus giving it a dark amber colour and rich malt flavour. 500ml 4.5% £3.20

 

Alcohol Free

Bittburger Drive:
From Germany, an alcohol free lager that actually tastes good. 330ml 0.5% £2.00

Erdinger Alkofree:
From the famous German wheat beer range. All the flavour but without the alcohol. 500ml 0.5% £2.00

Guest Beer: Check the blackboard for details. Past Guest Beers have included Cristal from Cuba, Quilmes from Argentina, Coopers from Australia, and Guinness from Nigeria. Let us know of beers you have discovered around the world, if we can source it we will get it.

Guest Ale: Due to customer requests we are delighted to add some great ales to our menu. We will change them every so often to keep the menu fresh, and source them in both England and Ireland. Just ask the bartender for details of our current ale.
